木に縁りて魚を求む
Fish are not to be caught by a birdcall.

気のない人には無理にはさせられない
馬を水辺に連れて行っても、無理に水は飲ませられない
You may take a horse to the water, but you cannot make him drink.

希望なかりせば心臓破れん
If hope were not, heart would break.

希望によって生きる人は絶望によって死ぬだろう
The man who lives by hope will die by despair.

今日できる事を明日に延ばすな
Never put off tomorrow what you can do today.

恐怖心はしばしば罪を犯した事から生じる
